Check you're paying the lowest UK price before you buy
Lowtide is a browser extension for UK shoppers. Click it while you're looking at a product and it shows you the cheapest UK price we can find for that exact product, with delivery included.
- Same product, not a near miss. It matches on barcode and model number, and it folds away lookalikes, other colours and older models under "Similar, not identical".
- Delivery counted in. Offers are sorted by price plus delivery. If a shop doesn't tell us its delivery cost, we say so and never treat it as free.
- Doubtful "was" prices flagged. If a "was" price is far above what the item is selling for elsewhere, it warns you instead of showing it as a saving.
- Flights in one click. Type a trip, or click the icon on a flight search, and Lowtide opens the same search on Google Flights, Skyscanner or KAYAK in a new tab, with your dates and travellers filled in. It doesn't show flight prices, and it earns nothing from these links.
Comparison only. It never changes the page you're on, never adds coupons and only opens a tab when you click a button.
How it works
Open a product page
Browse any UK shop as you normally would and open the item you're thinking of buying.Click the icon
The extension reads the product details already on that page, such as the name, brand, barcode and price.Compare and decide
You see the same item at other UK shops, cheapest first with delivery included. You click through only if you want to.
Prices come only from official retailer and affiliate network data feeds that allow price comparison. We don't scrape shop websites.
Privacy
- It only runs when you click it. Nothing runs in the background while you browse.
- It reads only the page you're on, and only at that moment.
- It doesn't collect your browsing history.
- No account is needed to use it.
- Flight searches stay in your browser. The extension builds the Google Flights, Skyscanner or KAYAK link itself, and nothing about your trip is sent to us.
To look up shop prices, the product details from that page (or what you type) are sent to our server. The full detail is in the extension privacy policy.

How we make money
We may earn a commission when you buy through our shop links, at no extra cost to you.
The free version will be paid for this way. Commission never changes the order of results: offers are always sorted by total price. The flight links to Google Flights, Skyscanner and KAYAK are plain links: we earn nothing from them.
